This seems like an appropriate time to announce that
the following Intel wifi cards are now known working:

Intel WiFi LINK 4965/5100/5300 AGN
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6000
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205

It is likely other cards either already do or can be made
to work with the current driver.

In addition, a new utility has been created to handle
authentication and key exchange with WPA/WPA2
protected wireless networks:

http://man.aiju.de/8/wpa

As always, testing and trouble reports are appreciated.

i reckon you wrote that for fun, but nonetheless i'd gladly use a small p9p-
centric linux distro. basically linux kernel for the drivers + p9p + perhaps
some filesystem recovery tools.

this leaves open the question of providing devdraw(1) -- perhaps via fbdev --
and the usual x11 goodies of mouse, clipboard etc.?

I really like 9vx, but it is somewhat stuck in the past.

the wifi driver is already in nix. it was a trivial port, so i would
expect it to just work.
