It means that the football hooligans will be out of town rather than
filling all the hotels and drinking all the beer. I'm told that Athens
during a college football game is truly a sight to see. (From a
distance. On closed-circuit camera. In a bunker)

It would be fun to get really trashed with them though.

Is that considered old? I mean my house is 100+ year old, but I
consider it newish. I guess it depends on the continent :-).

i just saw a video with time shear, (x',y',t') = (x,y,t-y). it's like that
except (x',y',t') = (x,y,t-x). x increases as you go west. we think
we have old stuff here because we go to california on a regular
basis.

as you can see, the "newness" here is just an illusion. ☺.

On this continent anything beyond the date of expiration is
considered old. The typical date of expiration of a house is
30yrs (conveniently in line with the typical mortgage on a
new construction).

Our neighbor's house in New Castle, NH, USA was built in 1647. It's one
of a dozen or more 17th century homes in town.

ah, the college football fans. they're fine. they just fill up the hotels,
excercise their god-given right to say spiteful things about the
opponents, and get just a tad excitable

if it weren't for the hotel problem, a football weekend would be a great
time to have a conference.
